EAT RIGHT FOR POWER!
TAKING AN EXAM
For immediate energy just before an exam, drink a glass of juice.
It contains simple sugars that are easily digested and absorbed by the body.
"Eat a regular meal three hours before the exam so you'll have an adequate supply of blood glucose for the brain," advises Liezl Marinay (a member of the Institute of Human Nutrition and Food, Univesity of the Philippines-Los Banos College of Human Ecology).
"[Without food] you will not remember things or might even have a mental block," Nieves Serra (Chief Dietician at The Asian Hospital and Medical Center,Philp).
